LEXINGTON, Va. – Numerous records fell Saturday afternoon as the University of Richmond men's lacrosse program opened Southern conference play with a dominating 23-6 victory over hosting VMI at Drill field No. 2. The 19th ranked Spiders 23-goal output was the highest in a single game in program history, surpassing a 21-goal effort against NJIT in 2015.
