COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- The University of North Dakota took four four major awards Wednesday as the National Collegiate Hockey Conference unveiled a handful of its individual year-end awards. Sophomore Shane Pinto earned both the forward of the year and the defensive forward of the year while Jacob Bernard-Docker was dubbed the defensive defenseman of the year and junior Adam Scheel took home the goalie of the year in the league. The NCHC Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year are still to be announced as the conference will release those on Thursday.
