SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. -- Showing few signs of rust following 13 months without competition, the Richmond Spider men's golf team finished third at the 13-team Ross Collegiate Classic at Mid Pines Golf Club on Tuesday. The Spiders combined to shoot 286 (-2) in the third and final round, six shots better than their Round 2 score and 19 shots better than the 305 the team posted in Round 1.
