BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The fifth-seeded Presbyterian College women's basketball team nearly rallied from a double-digit fourth quarter deficit, but ultimately fell 66-62 to fourth-seeded Gardner-Webb in Big South Conference Championship Quarterfinal action from Paul Porter Arena on Monday evening. Jade Compton netted a team-high 16 points for PC, while Maleia Bracone notched her first career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
