2006: As a true freshman played in each game and made four starts... worked at both FB and TE... had a four-yard TD catch at Villanova and a 10-yard reception vs. William & Mary.
High School: District, region and state defensive player of the year as a senior LB on Turner Ashby's state title team... first-team all-district, all-region and all-state as a TE and LB... team MVP and named to the state all-star game... in wrestling was state champion as a senior and state runner-up as a junior, regional winner as a junior and a two-time district champion... had a 78-4 record as a junior and senior.
Personal: Finance major... son of former JMU linebacker Charlie Newman (1979-82), a four-year JMU letterman and a member of JMU's first group of scholarship football signees... his mother, the former Robyn Dunn, was a JMU field hockey and lacrosse captain and led the lacrosse team in scoring with a then-JMU-record total as a senior.

I know he was a I-A player, but a picture of Ernie Davis, Syracuse #44 and 1961 Heisman Trophy winner, seems appropriate.

Signing Release:
Tailback Terrell Dobbins was named to the Associated Press and Pennsylvania Football News Class AAA all-state first team after rushing for 1,343 yards and 16 touchdowns. Dobbins also had 15 receptions out of the backfield.
Has anybody in the Bethlehem area (Lehigh and/or Lafayette guys) seen him play?
