Baltimore, Md. (Mar. 3, 2021) --- The 2020-21 Delaware State women's basketball season has come to an abrupt end due to coronavirus health and safety protocols. The decision was made shortly before the Lady Hornets' were to take on MEAC rival Morgan State in Baltimore this evening. Thursday's scheduled game between the teams, in addition to Delaware State's MEAC Tournament play-in contest against Coppin State slated for this Sunday (Mar. 7) have also been cancelled. The play-in game was to determine the third team from the MEAC Northern Division to compete in the main tournament field in Norfolk, Va., next week.
