As Black History Month concludes, Quincy Monday joins "A Higher Standard" for a special edition. The first Black wrestler to earn All-American honors for Princeton Wrestling, Monday is following in the history-making footsteps of his father, Kenny, who was the first Black wrestler to win an Olympic gold medal for the United States. Currently, Quincy is training and competing in freestyle well awaiting a return to the mats for the Tigers in 2021-22. In addition to his training, Quincy is part of a group if students who founded the Black Student-Athlete Collective (BSAC) which is working to support student-athletes of color on Princeton's campus. Quincy discusses his goals for BSAC, when he started to understand the historical importance of his father's golden moment, and his next steps as a wrestler in the latest episode of "A Higher Standard".
