RICHMOND, Va. -- Spiders senior guard Jacob Gilyard is one of fifteen players on the watch list for the 2021 Naismith Men's Defensive Player of the Year, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced on Thursday. Gilyard is averaging 3.79 steals per game this season and has recorded 53 total steals, both tops in the nation.
