Marshall loses the CUSA championship on their home field tonight. 2020 is not a total loss. 👍👍

Montana put together a nice little montage on social media to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their championship season. It really highlighted the title game win over Marshall in Huntington.
I vividly remember some of those CBS broadcasts in the early to mid 90s. The game felt truly "big time"....

I do enjoy seeing teams with buffalo-related mascots and green color schemes lose.

This FCS and FBS crap makes our division seem even more inadequate. xtwocentsx.
My favorite win in Huntington was when we beat Boise State on the Herd turf for ring #3.

when it was I-AA, the idiots called it D2
now there are idiots on both sides (FBS fans and FCS fans) that get the abbreviations confused.
No matter what they call it, the run-of-the-mill fan will always undervalue I-AA/FCS

Just like people still also get FBS and BCS confused. There is no more BCS -- no it's P5 and G5.
Always cringe when I'm at an FBS v. FCS game and hear someone from the home crowd refer to their opponent as "Division II". I remember hearing this in Blacksburg at a Virginia Tech-William & Mary game a few years ago. I was like c'mon man you guys played each other home-and-home in Men's Basketball until like 2006. You should know better.
It's funny, you never hear anyone refer to the top division as "I-A" anymore but fans of these schools often still refer to our division as "I-AA" -- not that it really matters. Better than D2 I guess.

most never did, even before the FCS/FBS change. They referred to I-A/FBS as "D1", as if they were the only division I football

I remember that because we played you guys tight the last week of the season then you went balls deep vs Alcorn and Steve McNair. Somehow we seemed to play you guys tough for some reason back then.
My first start was against you the year after the Boise St natty. I was a nice win on your down year.
