BATON ROUGE, LA – Academy Sports + Outdoors is partnering with Southern University Athletics to make the holiday season brighter for local children. Academy and Southern University will be presenting families from the Salvation Army's Angel Tree with $1,000 in holiday gifts. This year, almost 3,000 children are signed up to receive Christmas assistance. The program helps to provide families in need with assistance during the holidays, especially when it comes to Christmas presents for the kids.
