Tiger will be on the cover of a fitness magazine next week.

He's gained 30 lbs of muscle since leaving Stanford, I think it has been around 10 years.

Question, does everyone who thought Sammy Sosa used drugs to achieve the same results over the same time frame think Tiger is juicing?

I say no to both.
It's amazing what a little exercise and quality nutrition will do

You use 'thought' Sosa used steroids, as if he was somehow exonerated.
I, for one, 'think' (present tense) he used steroids and I also believe he understands English. xnodx
Don't know why Woods is even mentioned in the same breath.xconfusedx

I think this thread is absurd. To even suggest Tiger Woods is on steroids with no proof, no any reason to even think he is is just crazy.

Shame on you!

He is only pointing out that you CAN gain 30 pounds of muscle cleanly...Valid observation.

And in the process dragged Tigers name into a steroids discussion.

Anyone who gains that much muscle is subject to speculation - comes with the territory of sports these days.

No question. I gained 30 lbs in one year from high school through my freshman year in college by lifting and eating at the football training table. Plus, as you get older, you also gain weight--AND let's not forget he's been married a couple years, now---I attribute at least 10 lbs of my post graduate weight gain to marriage...xsmiley_wix

You read entirely too much into that. He was simply comparing Wood's muscle gains to Sosa's, which are pretty similar. Everyone just assumes that Sosa used steroids since he's gotten bigger over the years, while no one would even dream of accusing Tiger of juicing.

I think it's much more likely that Sosa has used PE drugs than Tiger Woods, but, both do/did compete in sports that have/had no testing programs.

Personally, I believe Sosa did, but that and $4 will buy you a cup of coffee at Starbucks. As for Tiger, I don't think he has, but if it came out he did, I wouldn't be shocked.

I was just calling out all the people who are throwing Sosa under the bus without any proof. The Tiger info was just because the results they gained were almost identical.

If Tiger's hat size had increased like Bonds' I'd be more suspicious.

Yeah, but he is what, 18, 19 in that picture? If he suddenly shrinks back to that college size in about a year, then you have something to worry about.

These proportions are very similar to Sosa's photos we have posted on other threads. I still say Sosa never juiced, and when "golden boy" athletes like Tiger put on alot of muscle, it strengthens the case for Sammy's innocence.
