If the Sixers draft Thorton from FSU they'll have a great player. xthumbsupx

If they blow it this year with 3 first-round picks, Billy King will be gone.

Only good pick the T-Wolves have had is Kevin Garnett.

Confidence is derived from something warranting confidence. We'll let you know when we see something that fits that bill - but go on with your daily life, it ain't gonna happen anytime soon! xoopsx xoopsx xoopsx xoopsx

A chorus of boos rained down from the Sixers' rooting section when David Stern announced that Georgia Tech pick. The local paper reported that fully half of the people who attended a "draft party" at the Wachovia Center walked out immediately and didn't stick around to see how King would butcher the other two first-round picks.xsmhx

I was just surprised King didn't really screw things up and take Josh McRoberts (who, to no surprise, Dickie V was raving about as a steal this morning)

This is the same guy who couldn't step up and score more points for Duke as the go to guy.

Excellent point. You know, in most eras, Billy King would be considered the worst GM in the NBA, and possibly all of major professional sports. However, with Isaiah Thomas in New York, Danny Ainge in Boston, Kevin McHale in Minnesota and Elgin Baylor of the Clippers running around, King can't even get a seat at the "Attrocious GM Summit."

No love for my BSC brethren, for having the #14 pick in the draft, Rodney Stuckey of the Eastern Washington Eagles!

Baylor isn't bad its the fault of Donald Sterling and Isiah didn't do half bad this draft year. Its tough to say how any picks will pan out especially a guy like Chandler. But by getting rid of the logjam of guards and getting a low post guy like Randolph to go with Curry, is a step in the right direction. Young will be good and to pair him with the other A.I. will help Philly. After they traded Iverson the sixers went 30-28, we'll see if they can improve. I say the most interesting move was trading B. Wright to the warriors. He will be a perfect fit in that system, but is Richardson really worth it for the bobcats? If they get Gerald Wallace back, and with richardson they could be a playoff team in the East(which isn't saying much). Plus if May comes back healthy they will finally have someone to pair with Emeka.

Liar.
The Barrage won the Major League Lacrosse title last year.
The Kixx just won the 2007 MISL title.
The Phantoms won the AHL title in 1998.
And Rocky Balboa won the title back in what, 1989?
Geez. Philly is practically Titletown USA!
