The USF Bulls signed (http://www.tbo.com/sports/MGB0L3K7F3F.html) to play at Ray J for 5 years. There have been rumblings about an on campus stadium. Personally I like Ray J (beers during the game) but I don't think they have a good homefield advantage there. They have a home and home with the Hurricanes signed.

Last year they averaged 30,222 (6 games key home game Rutgers), in 2005 38,865 (5 games including UCF, Florida A&M, West Virginia, and Louisville), 2004 still trying to hunt down figures, key home game Pittsburgh 2003 30,512 (6 games key home game Louisville)

It sounds like they'd be better served playing in a 40,000 seat on campus stadium. The average attendance isn't too bad but that number of people in a huge NFL stadium looks sparse. If they're getting 30,000+ per game then it's not too far of a stretch to see them selling out a 40,000 seat stadium. Plus if constructed properly they'll be able to bring the crowd into the game more.

I think an on campus stadium would be great. But I don't really know where they'd put it. I think most fans like Ray J but it's tough on the students bussing across town for games.

30K+ seems pretty good for a program that's been around since when, 2002?

Busing across town though isn't good. But with solid attendance like that you'd think they could get something within a mile or two of campus put up.

They've been playing since '96 or '97. Tampa is a football town, I'd like to see the community get behind the program more than they have.

Way better than UAB!xconfusedx Their attendance sucks bad! They have a few key games when they get 26,000+ but then they have those sub 10,000- games too!xnonono2x Their highest attendance for a game was around 44,000 and most of the people showed up to see Ruben sing and then they left at halt-time.xsmhx Out of all of the big events at Legion Field(Magic City Classic, Miles/Tuskegee, MEAC/SWAC Challenge, SWAC Championship Game and ect.), UAB football isnt one of them.

No, but the Bulls really are going to be tough. The Big East in general is loaded again. It's scary to think about the fact that a pretty decent Pitt team is CLEARLY in the bottom half of the conference. They might even be 6th out of 8 if Cincinnati continues their rate of improvement.

That, however, is due to the fact that the BE could possibly land half of the conference in the top 25. Louisville, West Virginia, and Rutgers are no-brainers. If USF can get over that hump....well there's half of the league right there.

I definitely agree that USF can beat Auburn.

No doubt the Big East is a tough league, but USF is an inconsistent team. You never know what you get from week to week. They lost some key defensive leaders and they still have an uncertain running game. If Auburn can stop Matt Grothe they win hands down. As he goes so does the team, see the Cincinnati, Louisville, Kansas, UCF, and FIU games from last season. I think they'll win 7 games. Hopefully I can make more games this year.
