Week 5 is in the books and two new teams have joined the ranks of those who have played at least one game.

It is likely that NDSU will stay at #1. What other shuffling will take place?

Thursday at noon Eastern is again the cutoff time to share your rankings.

2 - Central Arkansas 2-2 (Gave the king all they could handle, clearly IMO the second best team in the FCS.)
3 - Houston Baptist 1-3 (Knocked off Eastern Kentucky and still rolling on offense, while defense still shaky)
4 - Jacksonville State 0-1 (Gave FSU a scare leading 21-14 at the half)
5 - Abilene Christian 0-2 (Put 23 points on the road against an FBS team)
6 - Campbell 0-4 (Took a beating from Wake Forest)
7 - Stephen F. Austin 1-3 (Division II win)
8 - Missouri State 0-2 (Did not play)
9 - Eastern Kentucky 1-4 (Battle with Campbell for best 4 loss team)
10 - North Alabama 0-1 (Good showing against Liberty on the road 0-7 at the half)

Will get to finally see Mercer in action this Saturday as they take on Jacksonville State.


Central Arkansas with another tough one on the road (but still in the state of Arkansas) against Arkansas State

The Citadel against a very good Army team on the road.

SFA at home against another Division II team Angelo State (Should be an interesting game as Angelo State was a Top 20 team in Div. II in 2019 with a great defense (#1 in their conference) that returns much of that defense for 2020. They knocked off West Texas A&M in their opener, who SFA just played.

We still need more voters. Over-all I saw some good football this weekend, but wasn't able to watch all of them. It's still an odd ball season, but I am actually enjoying some matchups that we normally wouldn't get to see.

Yeah. SIU and SEMO are top 5 because they have looked great....against nobody.They are going to play and I think they will both be decent. Lets face it, everybody except UCA and NDSU are pretty low rent so far this year, I have them in there because they were decent last year and might be OK this year. HBU has surprised me a little bit as they seem to be competitive.
