OhioHen
September 27th, 2020, 06:46 AM
We finally have some more FCS vs. FCS games to help us with the rankings. And we have two new teams (Southeast Missouri State and Southern Illinois) to add to the mix (although with no games played).
Rank all 17 schools using whatever criteria you wish. Remember, this is open to anyone who wishes to participate. Post your poll and enjoy the discussion. Thursday around noon Eastern is the deadline as usual.

Looking at this week’s schedule, couple of more FCS teams are playing for the first time and there are two inter conference games that will tell us a lot about fall ball teams.
I’m looking at straight up wins for FCS v FCS games and who wins against the oddsmaker betting lines for FCS-FBS match ups
UCA at NDSU. NDSU is a 22 point favorite.
Houston Baptist at Eastern Kentucky. Eastern Kentucky is favored by 3
Campbell at Wake Forest. Wake by 35
North Alabama at Liberty. Liberty by 30 1/2.
Jacksonville State at Florida State. Seminoles by 26 1/2.
ACU at Army. Army by 31

I'd take HBU over Eastern Kentucky.

I'd take HBU over Eastern Kentucky.I would be inclined to agree, as the Huskies have, for the most part, hung with their 3 FBS opponents, but do they play D at all? They’re giving up 53 points / game. On the other hand, they’re putting up 34...still 3 score losses...on average, though their 2 point loss to TTU looks better after TTU took the Longhorns to OT this Saturday...after Texas killed UTEP 2 weeks before.
I think I’ll take the Over...whatever the number is!

HBU over EKU - The Huskies have more game experience under their belt this fall. They also have a very good QB.
NDSU over UCA - Central Arkansas will make it closer than the number, simply because they have game experience this fall. I see the Bizon winning by 13-17.
If there is a chance for an FCS upset over FBS, I think JSU has the best chance.
