So many injuries with the QBs (three of the four Texan regulars), that they had to bring Parsons back in just so they didn't run our backup QB tired without having any other QBs to take snaps...
-----------
Quarterback shuffle
With David Carr (sore Achilles) and Dave Ragone (sore knee) still limited, fifth-string quarterback Preston Parsons continued to take a number of snaps during practice Wednesday.
Coach Dom Capers said he hoped Carr would be able to practice today.
"I think it's just kind of the third week of training camp, and he's done an awful lot of running on it, and I think those things flare up a little bit," Capers said. "Any time you have something like that with your quarterback, you're going to be cautious about it."
Capers said Parsons, who was signed Tuesday after being cut earlier in camp, will be ready to play against the Raiders on Saturday night.
Parsons and Tony Banks are the only healthy quarterbacks. Fourth-string quarterback B.J. Symons is out indefinitely with a sore shoulder.
