MARTIN, Tenn. --- Tennessee-Martin running back Donald Chapman was recently selected the No. 2 running back in the nation by Matt Dougherty of The Sports Network in his recent column "FCS Position Rankings."

Chapman finished the season with 1,412 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. He rushed for more than 200 yards in three games this past season.

Against Southeast Missouri State, Chapman notched 225 rushing yards, 14 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He completed his third 1,000 yard rushing season for the Skyhawks. He was selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Year and earned first team All-OVC honors.

Two other Skyhawks were named in the FCS Position Rankings.

Jessie Burton was tabbed the No.3 return specialist in the FCS. He averaged more than 26 yards per return and scored two touchdowns on kick returns for the Skyhawks. He tied the school record with a 100-yard kick return in the Southeast Missouri game.

He earned first-team All-OVC honors and received the Sport's Network I-AA (FCS) and OVC Specialist of the Week recognition for his effort after the Southeast Missouri State game (Nov. 5, 2006).

Billy Krause was picked as the No.4 center. He finished the season earning first-team All-OVC honors.
