A record number of Summit League men's basketball squads earned the Team Academic Excellence Award presented by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). The six programs honored for their players' overall success in the classroom were North Dakota, North Dakota State, Omaha, outgoing member Purdue Fort Wayne, South Dakota, and South Dakota State.
