The latest student-athlete is middle linebacker A.C. Gilliam, who's known around the conference as a tough hard hitting gridiron football player. . A native of Shreveport, Louisiana was a standout both on the field and in the classroom. A three-year letterman, tallied several career highs his senior year, with (57) tackles, (18) solos, (18) assisted tackles, (1.5) sacks, and (5.0) tackles for loss.
