Great pick up for Stony Brook, I wonder what the guarantee will be for Stony Brook with chances it being there will be no fans or at most 10-15k fans allowed into the stadium keeping capacity under 50%.

The charts look nice, but one thing to consider is that COVID is not homogeneously distributed. It rages in some neighborhoods, but avoids others. Rural and small city schools will likely have fewer problems than large universities in urban areas.

I increasingly suspect we will see spring football this year, however.

FCS and below will get the shaft again this year. There are 291 FCS players in the NFL in some form or fashion...that's about 6 full teams worth...gotta be some more gold in this level IMO. I know they will say if it's there they will find it...but so few were drafted this past year from what I think were cancelled prodays and camps.. an FCS kid needs every look he can get!

Yeah, I was about to post a new thread on how the Ivies will effect the rest of FCS in terms of cancelling for the Fall of 2020 but it seemed redundant as many other threads are already covering this.

Expect the Patriot League to cancel a nanosecond after the Ivies.

We will see what the Ivy says on the 8th.

But most reports are indicating that the Ivy is postponing Fall sports--not canceling.

Fordham announces its Sept. 12 football game @HawaiiFB for @AlohaStadiumHI has been cancelled per Patriot League travel policy. Rams to announce later if they will postpone entire season until the spring. #HawaiiFB looking for a replacement

Ahead of the Ivy League's 7/8 announcement about athletics, Princeton says it plans to have freshman/juniors on campus for fall, and sophs/seniors in spring; "Most academic instruction will remain online."

The normal "crowd" for a MAC school will still be allowed to attend if they limit to 50% of capacity.

Dartmouth is doing something similar. Harvard and Yale are telling one class to stay home per semester. Cornell is allowing everyone to return.

Not sure about Brown, Columbia, or Penn.

You could have Lawn Dart Night at most MAC schools and not have any incidents.
