I like how they circumvent the law by 'offering free tickets' if you buy a hat for $1,500!http://www.nbc10.com/education/13519939/detail.html

Easy.
Cause Technically........................ They giving the ticket's away for free.
You buying the hat. xsmiley_wix
No law against selling a hat for $1,500 or giving away your tickets.xthumbsupx
They could never "prove" that the person was paying for the ticket's instead of the hat no matter how transparent the deal is.

At Florida they made the student's ID required to use a student tix for Football games and no way to check if the ID's were active because of the high volume of people/students attending (unlike for BBall).
We figured out that the "townies" were willing to buy your ID's in addition to your ticket (double profit). The replacement of an ID was $10, I made that several times over while I sold my tickets (I always had an extra deactivated ID just in case of a quick sale)!!!
eg.... $200 for a student game ticket and $50 to $75 for a UF ID were not unheard.
Ahhhh the benefits of college education!!!

I don't care how much I needed money, I couldn't give up seeing a game.
