BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - This week's Flashback Friday features Samford University's move to the Southern Conference in 2008. Since joining the Southern Conference in 2008, the Bulldogs have won 48 conference championships, including eight titles in 2019-2020, a season shortened due to the cancellation of spring sports by COVID-19.
