One junior to keep an eye on is NDSU QB Trey Lance who is expected to ask for his draft grade at the end of the season and see where he stands.

OK, great. We are back to making this a thread about NDSU
I only mentioned him because I am sure someone was going to ask why he was not on the list below it and because of the media attention he is expected to go to the advisory board. If I am missing a name, let me know. I don't have all the feedback I usually get from scouts yet so I'm sure I will add a few guys but this should give a good idea about what is out there.
The top FCS names overall right now are NDSU OT Radunz, SDSU WR Johnson, UCA CB Rochell, and the Ill St OT Himmelman. MVFC is loaded in 2020. There are at least 5 players in the league that I know of who some scouts think could get drafted.

With an NFL prospect at every single position group it looks like Villanova should be pretty good this year???

Not all of those guys are legit PFA or draftable. 1-2 may get drafted and I expect 2-4 could get a contract total. Some of those are wait and see types who have measurables. Most of them are camp body or tryout grades right now with a shot to move up. However, just having tryout caliber players means a FCS team should be good. I do think the expectation is Villanova will be a top 5 team. When you return a QB like Smith you should be a title contender.

Scroll down to the Ts. You guys are listed as "The Citadel". I have 3, the LB, WR, and RB who came from VMI, listed. Ramsey is the best RB and really best offensive player VMI has had since Thomas Haskins. I would imagine he could be an impact player for you.

How rude of you!
You MUST include the “The” and, then, as Melvin Udall said, you MUST take away reason and accountability, and alphabetize them with the “C’s.”

I have not been on here in 2 or 3 months so I'm sorry for the delayed response.
I would imagine that many of these guys will return for the fall of 2021. There is a good chance we don't have more than 10 FCS players drafted in 2021. There are only about 4-5 FCS players who should come on out based on where they stand right now.
Here is my updated list of FCS names to watch after all the transfers so far.

Sam Houston's Trace Mascorro (DL) is probably the the best player on the entire team. I think you overlooked him. STATS preseason first team All-American.

Need to see how he looks this year. Sam Houston has a few players on the NFL radar but Trace would really need to measure and play better than expected. As of now he would be a tryout, at best.

Seniors only. I can definitely update this list after the fall to show those who are now gone and those who need to be added.

Smith is not playing and instead will train. I am not saying all of those guys will get drafted or signed but they are all on radar. I have them all as camp bodies or tryouts at this point. Williams and Smith are the 2 highest rated on defense.

No Combine for this year. Also, workouts will take place in individual Pro Days instead; interviews will go virtual.

It is making it harder for sure and I would imagine that the combine may just be medical now like it was. One of two things will happen with all of this.
1. Teams will either be way more accurate not having workouts to change grades and pull guys up. They will be more accurate just going on the film.
OR
2. They will miss badly on guys taken in mid rounds and late rounds, which will make them do even more cuts and new signings once they get them to training camp.

Does anyone know if 2020 seniors on FCS rosters this spring (assuming the season does happen) are draft eligible this year? Not sure how the NCAA granting everyone an extra year will work. For instance I know NDSU OT Cordell Volson is a pretty solid NFL prospect but he's given every indication that he's going to play this spring. Can he still be drafted or does he forfeit his draft eligibility until 2021 since he technically could come back in fall 2021 still?
I'd imagine if those guys are eligible it's going to be an awkward pro day for some of them trying to work out for scouts in the middle of their season when they have all the bumps and bruises and wear and tear that playing games gives them.

I think they have to declare by March 1.

My thoughts on the NDSU guys....
- Trey is obviously a wildcard. Could see him go as high as 3rd-4th, but also wouldn't be surprised to see him fall past 10. For his own development I would have liked to see him stay in college. I don't believe you learn much sitting, but I think he needs more development before he's ready. Alas, he'll sign a big check soon, which would be hard to pass up to stay.
- Radunz I've seen mocked fairly consistently in the 2nd, even an outside shot at the first. ESPN has him ranked a bit lower. Played well in the senior bowl. I think he can make a career as a swing tackle or right tackle. I think he fits at tackle but those are big shoes to fill in the NFL. I hope I'm a bit low and he can stay at LT.
- Cox, although not technically an FCS/NDSU guy any more, I'm most excited about. He's got enough athleticism to not only play the run but also cover the pass including the growing number of athletic TEs. I think he's a 3 down LB, at least eventually. Probably goes in the second but whoever picks him I think is getting a solid LB for at least 4 years.

These are the guys who I had most likely based on intel and pro days. I meant to post this early yesterday but forgot. Hope you are all doing well.

why no Ezzard?
Just seeing this thread. He was not in the 2021 draft. He will be in the 2022 cycle and I'm about to post a very early list, which I will update again before the season starts.
