LAKE CHARLES— The McNeese Athletic Department held its 2nd Annual Rowdy Awards Wednesday night via social media due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the Cowboy baseball team capturing the prized Rowdy Bell Award as the department's team of the year after winning the 2019 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament title and qualifying to the NCAA Tournament.
