That's a very good point. He wouldn't be the first Hall of Famer to fall victim to estrogen poisoning...I mean, just look what happened to poor OJ? Last year was the first year not running the TO in a long damn time. Moved to a "new" spread offense. Last year they ran a spread offense with triple option plays. Got results you'd expect from doing that - bad.
This year probably isn't much better.

Didn't lose to WCU. It's not our fault that UNI has no rival so I don't expect you to be able to understand how the Military Classic of the South works. El Cid had won 12 in a row. VMI was due and they whipped the 'Dogs. All credit goes to them.

Yup. It wasn't the facemask itself necessarily, but how his leg was bent backwards under him. But I guess if he didn't have his mask he couldn't have bent him that way. I cringe every time I see that play. GaTech was pretty frustrated at not being able to stop us and they resorted to dirty play on a bunch of plays. Glad the refs called them repeatedly.

Who has elon ever beat?

It ain't an FBS team, but they literally beat JMU at JMU in 2018 when JMU was considered #2 in the nation. JMU would have given a LOT of FBS teams hell that year, and so would Elon. I would even argue that Elon would probably have beaten Georgia Tech the same week you guys beat them, and likely a good amount more FBS teams with how they were playing. Not to mention, like I said, that Elon beat you guys the week prior. You guys went down to the wire with Towson and lost. Meanwhile, we went down to the wire with Towson and won.

If we look at all of D1 through Massey's rankings they aren't even a top 10 FCS team.

They are a bottom half MVFC team and middle of the pack Big Sky team

They are essentially SIU, Yale, Dartmouth, Austin Peay, Towson in the FCS

Sure I will remember it. There have been so few FCS victories over P5 ever, who wouldn't remember it. I still remember our W over South Carolina in 15 as well. And our W over Arkansas in 92 and our W over South Carolina in 90. Geez. Is it envy?

Come on dude. That's apples and oranges and you know it. If they had gone winless I would say we were making too much if it. But they beat S Florida, Miami, and NCST. You do realize that part of them being 110 was us beating them right? We played a great game and outlasted them, plain and simple.
