Dak Prescott's older brother, Jace, a 6-4, 315 lb offensive tackle at Northwestern State died today at age 31. No cause of death has been released as of yet. He was the middle child of Peggy Prescott, who succumbed to cancer in 2014.
He was a two-year starter at Northwestern at OT. This one hits home. I coverd several games that he played in at Haughton and at Northwestern. I quoted him in a 2009 game story for the Shreveport Times, when they upset SELA in Natchitoches. He was a good kid. All of the Prescott kids are. Condolences to Jace's friends and family, including one of his Uncles who used to occasionally post here as Demon78, I believe.
They're all really fine folks. This really sucks.
