Fresh off the first conference tournament championship in program history, the Towson University women's basketball team faced stiff competition all season. For the first time in six seasons, the Tigers won more than 10 games on back-to-back years. Towson saw Nukiya Mayo and Kionna Jeter receive preseason and postseason accolades from the CAA. Jeter, Mayo and Q. Murray became the first players under Diane Richardson's tenure at Towson to score 1,000 points.
