We got our fifth practice in on Thursday but on Saturday, the Southland Conference suspended all organized team activities, including practice, until at least March 30. There's no doubt it'll extend well beyond that, but there's a slim hope of finishing up before the end of the spring semester. But honestly, shutting down in the right thing to do. This thing could really get out of hand if we all don't do our part to help flatten the curve.

the NCAA should regulate this in the interest of fairness, and just ban all group activities until this thing becomes more manageable. Instead of leaving it up to the individual institutions, which could lead to some programs trying to get a competitive advantage by holding practices, that could put their student athletes at risk.

They've cancelled their spring game, which was originally scheduled for April 17. Students return from spring break on March 23, at which time all classes begin online only sessions; it will be interesting to see how happens with spring practice.

Portland State holds spring practice in February and ends in mid-March. Once the Big Sky shut down all sports, PSU cancelled spring practice as well as the spring game (we ended up losing only the last week).
