Moon Township, Pa. – The drive for nine Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament championships continues on Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m. when the top-seeded Robert Morris University women's basketball team squares off with fifth-seeded Sacred Heart from Peoples Court at the UPMC Events Center. RMU avoided a monumental upset in the quarterfinals, knocking off eighth-seeded Wagner in overtime, 65-61, while the Pioneers defeated Saint Francis U on the road, 73-70.
