CHARLESTON, S.C. – Redshirt junior Tim Miller (Wayne, Pa.) threw the first complete game of his career Friday afternoon at Shipyard Park as the Spiders defeated the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons 13-4. Miller's nine-innings of work matched a career-high from the 2018 season that led to an extra inning victory over Fordham. The Spiders snapped a six-game losing skid with the victory to improve to 3-10. The Mastodons fall to 3-9 on the season. Miller becomes the first Spider this season to throw a complete game, and the first since Jacob Marcus (Malvern, Pa.) did so against Norfolk State in 2019.
