they traded Aaron Rowand and have sucked since.

Dont mess with championship teams you'd think people would learn...

One of these days a champion will keep the team intact lol

they won 90 games last yr Travis and finished 3rd in the Division, thats a tough division...

Thome played superbly last replacing Rowand so that is NOT the case at all...

Their offense NEVER got on track this year and their bullpen the last 40 games has an ERA over 10...OUCH!!!

Injuries are killing the Sox, but they kill everyone...just to mention a few...

The WHite Sox basically had the same team, starters and pen...they just didnt perform as well, their team ERA was almost 1 full run hugher than '05. Plus the Tigers and Twins were phenominal

From what I just saw of them, and this was the past series with the Yankees, the lineup is inconsistantly hitting and the bullpen stinks on ice. Contreras threw a gem on Thursday, 1 run over 8.1. The bullpen then gave up 9 runs over the remainder of the game. Inability to score runs combined with an inability to stop others from scoring in the late innings is a deep hole to dig.
