Read the other day that the contest between Oklahoma and Texas will no longer be known as "The Red River Shootout".
It will still be sponsored by SBC, though.
I really didn't mind the corporate sponsorships up to a point, but ever since this 'mascot' debacle, I felt that the huge ball of political correctness was going to snowball. Imagine what will take place by the time the Super Bowl rolls back into Houston next. What will have changed?

Not a bad logo, but this PC ***** is getting stupid.
Two years ago, Arizona dropped Wilbur the Wildcat's pistols. The problem was that all they did was eliminate the guns. In many drawings of him, he's getting ready to "draw" as if they were still there.
