SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After a career-best day in the cage, VMI lacrosse goalie Bill Osteen was named the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league Tuesday afternoon. Devon Buckshot of High Point was named the Offensive Player of the Week. The awards are selected by the league office.
