Spartanburg, S.C. – The Presbyterian college baseball team was unable to overcome a 10-run seventh from Monmouth as the Hawks picked up a 15-2 victory on Saturday afternoon at Harley Park in Spartanburg. Freshman Kyle Merkle led the offense with a pair of base hits in the defeat. Reagan Fowler matched his season-high with six strikeouts over 5.0 innings in the contest.
