While Roger Dodger is playing with his groin, Randy Johnson last night passed him on the all-time Strike Out list. Johnson now has 4605.
Nolan Ryan has 5714, an untouchable mark.
Johnson has pitched in only 564 games. Clemens is at 691. Ryan pitched in 807 games.
Randy Johnson - greatest Strikeout pitcher - ever!!

Nice achievement for Randy, who seems to be a genuinely decent human being as well.

I think Jake Peavy will make a run at top 5, Santana as well

They're good, but talk to me in 10 years, if they haven't already blown out an elbow, or a shoulder. The longevity is the key....I'd put my money on Peavy before Santana...

Whazzup, AZGF? Do the Arizona fans think he's an azzhole? I've heard that, off the field, he's an OK guy.xconfusedx

Surely, you can't be serious.
Yes, I am. And stop calling me Shirley. xeyebrowx xcoolx xeyebrowx xcoolx
Johnson is a prick, and everyone knows it. He doesn't like his teammates (for the most part), and hates dealing with fans. He's a surly, boorish, egotistical maroon....fortunately he can still pitch. xnodx

Based on SO/IP, ain't no WAY Roger's ever gonna catch him again. Randy pulls away this year and cements his position as #2 behind the Great One.
