That seems to be the case. Western Washington and Humboldt State have both dropped football even though they had raised the financial support. It all depends who is sitting in the top chair.

No faculty committees just want to eliminate any program that isn't theirs. Some faculty are conditioned that every dollar not spent on them is a dollar wasted.
