MOBILE, Ala. -- A pair of freshmen led the Spiders on the first day of the Mobile Sports Authority Collegiate, played Monday at Magnolia Grove Golf Club. Lou Baker carded rounds of 69 and 74 and is tied for 29th in the field at 143 (-1) while Ben Cooper is tied for 35th at 144 (E) after scores of 77 and 67 in the first two rounds. As a team, the Spiders are tied for 10th at 580 (+4) with 18 holes remaining in the event, their first of the spring.
