Did anybody see that game last night? James was amazing!! Shot the Pistons down virtually by himself, even when double-or-triple teamed. Reminds me of Elgin Baylor in the early 1960's. Cleveland has to get some more talent around him to win an NBA Championship, but they may squeeze out an upset in the Eastern Conference Finals because of his one-man show. Truly one of the great one-player efforts I have seen in my lifetime.

I'm not a fan of the NBA, but that was amazing!

Exceptional game, and I only saw the overtimes. Although I have to say, the Pistons are the most uninterested team I've seen in awhile - they look bored out there, winning or losing. Except for Rasheed's temper, they're pretty non-plussed.

Go Cavs! One more en route to your first ever NBA Finals

i hate lebron. Everything he does is magnified by a thousand just because of the hype the created when he entered. If he makes a jumper it's an amazing shot that only God himself could make. If Rip Hamilton makes a jumper it's just that...a jumper. I will say he played well, but all they did was say "shoot the ball" and he was lucky it went in a few times. Detroit will win game 6 and then win game 7. They are ready to rock clevelands world, and if Cleveland makes it to the finals, Lebron will be owned by the guy on the floor who is better than him...TIMMYYY!!! I will hope that Bruce Bowen plays as dirty as ever and just straight up takes Lebron out. Go anyone but the cavs. OH and Varejao is a punk

Ha, when Rip scores 29 of Detroit's last 30 points then I'm sure he'll get his props. And if Bowen tries to play dirty against Lebron he will probably get ejected like McDyess did b/c they want to protect the golden boy.

Say what you like, but EVERYONE in that arena knew who was getting the ball then ENTIRE 4th quarter and BOTH of the OT periods. They did nothing to stop him.

HELL of a performance by James.

Are you kidding me Peems? You sound like a bitter bulls fan. LeBron scored 29 of his teams' last 30 points, and all of their points in both overtimes, against one of the best defensive teams in the league. This was a one man tour de force, one of the great performances in playoff history, without a doubt.

Lebron is the reason I watch. Last night was amazing.

I'm afraid he may miss the finals with a sore back from carrying the other Cavs. xlolx xlolx

...b/c they want to protect the golden boy.

That's what I hate about the NBA. They are too individual-oriented and always cater to the biggest stars with looser rules and favorable calls.

That being said, it's hard to criticize what James did. Definately a performance for the ages.

While I am a bulls fan, how can i be bitter, when i'm cheering for the pistons:D? I know, I know, it's because I scoff when people make the comparisons, as i should. I've gotten over Kobe, i appreciate the guy. But there are better players in the NBA than Lebron, guys I would take over Lebron. One great game and he is the best thing since sliced bread. It was a great game, but does that dismiss his dismal games 1 and 2? He's good, but not the best.

I don't even follow the NBA and I know that LeBron James is the best player in the league, and single-handedly won that game.

It's not rocket science.

If somebody else had done that, they'd get the props.

LaBron is in playing at a great level, one of the best team players in the NBA.

obviously you don't follow the NBA because the best player in the NBA is Kobe.

He's also the most selfish player in the NBA. At least LeBron knows how to get his team involved.

Nope.

Kobe disappeared (d-i-s-a-p-p-e-a-r-e-d * poof * Houdini has nothing on Kobe) several times during the last two years in critical playoff games and was not able to raise the level of his team's play.

Kobe has the ability to go off at any time, but that doesn't make him the best player.

Kobe is good, but he's a dick. I don't want to watch that.

Kobe's not even close to James as an overall player. If you had a one-on-one tournament of NBA players, Kobe probably wins, but Kobe's way too selfish to be called the best player in the league.

xnodx Case in point. Basketball is not a one-on-one game, even Kobe seems to think it is. LeBron has already figured out that it's a team game and he is only as good as the team around him. The kid's so young and already figured that out...he's going to blow Kobe out of the water when it's all said and done.
