The 2007 edition of the New York Yankees needs a do-over.

Without his "medicine", how will he heal quickly?

Plantar Faciitis is bad stuff. He won't be healthy all year with this injury.

Too bad for the Yanks. Another one bites the dust.

I was watching the Yanks game on ESPN the other night, and they showed Giambi while he was standing on first. What a greaseball!!! He could also use a serious haircut (he's rockin' the mullet like there's no tomorrow).

Is it really going to take him 3 weeks to score some more of that stuff?

No, but since he apprently failed a drug test and is on a more frequent testing schedule, he'll need the extra time to get it out of his system...xcoolx

The NY Post is reporting this morning that Giambi is getting re-evaluated in 3 weeks but is likely done for the YEAR as this type of injury usually takes 3-6 months to heal.

Wow.

Does this mean that ESPN, FOX, TNT, Lifetime, etc. will not be showing the Yanks and Red Sox this weekend and baseball fans will actually get a chance to realize there are more than two teams in the major leagues? xrolleyesx

A substitution has been made. In the interest of competition, the Mets will be playing the Red Sox. xrotatehx

Throw Hughes in the injury mix for at least another 5 weeks, basically makes him a non-factor for '07, which means Tyler Clippard & DeSalvo will battle for the #5 spot. Has there ever been this much attention on the team furthest out of the division lead in MLB??

No joke...enough already. When can we focus on talking about the teams that actually, you know...will make the playoffs?
