Better question is: how do we as FCS fans feel about this?

On the one hand, we all know the Playoff is the best way to determine a National Champ, settling the issue on the playing field and not in some poll or computer.

On the other, the Playoff is what makes FCS unique in a lot of ways, and it gives us positive press whenever the BCS finds themselves picking between 3 or 4 teams with 1 loss. We lose a lot of that ground and notariety if the big boys set up brackets for some December/January Madness.

I think all the championships should be settled with playoffs. I'll still watch the FCS playoffs even if FBS had them. I'd probably complain that the FBS needs 16 like FCS. FBS would also have to change its name again.
