Houston, TX – Junior transfer Ahsante Shivers had 13 points and five rebounds along with Senior transfer Amel Kuljuhovic 13 points but that wasn't enough as Texas Southern (4-10, 1-0) late charge defeats Southern (3-11, 0-1) 77-68 at H&PE Arena on Saturday evening to open up SWAC play.
