And still able to swing the sticks! I've gotten to meet Sandy on numerous occasions as he frequents my club with former Dodger and Tiger Dick Tracewski. One of the perks of the job is getting to meet some cool people.
That's Sandy getting his clubs organized out of his Mustang. He's extremely low maintenance and really doesn't want to be bothered. I greeted him once he started walking across the lot. This pic is from September...

1965 Game 7 World Series. He beat the Twins. Ouch.

Does he golf left handed?
If I remember correctly he batted right handed, so I would assume he golfs that way. GLTO will know for sure.

He plays golf lefty. I was trying to find a picture of his irons from a few years ago that had his name engraved on them. Unfortunately, I don't where it is.

I wonder why he batted right handed. Not that it mattered, he was a terrible hitter.

and old enough to be a Brooklyn Dodger
look how his ERA took a nose dive later on in his career, something clicked around 1961 and he dominated on the back side of his rather short career

Probably the greatest short career anyone has had. Once he found his control he was simply dominant.

I started watching baseball in 1967, so I missed his career. Heard he is a tough autograph.
