BALTIMORE, Md. (December 28, 2019) -- HBCU Gameday in conjunction with Protect Your Skull announced Saturday that Morgan State redshirt senior linebacker Rico Kennedy has been named the inaugural recipient of the FCS Defensive Player of the Year. The Award recognizes the most outstanding defensive football player from a Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
