NEW YORK -- Despite constant speculation about manager Joe Torre's job, New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner says someone else also needs to deliver as the team looks to reverse its floundering start: general manager Brian Cashman.

I like the reaction from the Boss a lot. Cashman has flopped with his decision making year after year. He has the most money in baseball to work with yet hasn't delivered in too long. I hope Cashman goes.

Some of these decision's are George's. He signs off on all of them, so he has to take some blame himself, but he won't

Cashman might have a little more power than he used to, but make no mistake, the Boss is calling the shots (and I don't mean Bruce Springsteen). When the Yankees flop, Cashman will probably lose his job in the bloodletting, but to me, the blame will be much more of Steinbrenner than Cashman.
