Can't hate Steinbrenner for what he does off the field. He's always been giving money to causes around New York. Good to see him helping out the Hokies! xthumbsupx

I don't think anyone actually hates Steinbrenner (well, except for maybe Yankee fans who think he meddled for too long) - he's a great guy and his stints (well, not him of course) in the Seinfeld episodes were great (my all-time fav Steinbrenner one was where George's dad, upon hearing of George's death, berated Steinbrenner with the classic.. "how the hell could you trade Jay Buhner???") - no one (except Yankee fans of course) likes that he's made baseball into such a money game in terms of spending almost double what the second highest spending team spends, but that's business, not personal.
