University at Albany alumnus Stephen Woods Jr. has been selected by the Kansas City Royals in Major League Baseball's 2019 Rule 5 Draft. Woods Jr. was picked fourth overall from the Tampa Bay Rays' Advanced-A affiliate Charlotte Stone Crabs.
