Former Youngstown State All-America tailback Marcus Mason (Potomac, Md.) has accepted a free-agent deal with the Washington Redskins, the organization announced on Monday.
Mason, who rushed for a school-record 1,847 yards in 12 games as a senior, becomes the first Penguin to sign a contract with the Redskins since Quentin Lowry in 1981.
