Probably not shocking to anyone but the impressive string of QBs for NDSU continues to grow. Trey is a pretty grounded guy so I'm sure he'd defer praise to his teammates and coaches but he's well deserving of this. The crazy thing is that he's still getting better as are all the great freshman players on this list.
This was the top 5:
1. Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State: 116-20-9-2-0-691
2. Jeff Undercuffler, QB, UAlbany: 14-52-27-14-8-395
3. Javon Williams Jr., RB, Southern Illinois: 6-19-28-20-13-243
4. Tristan Wheeler, LB, Richmond: 0-8-14-29-11-143
5. Ailym Ford, RB, Chattanooga: 5-9-12-13-9-132

Congratulations Trey!
Some how 9 voters left Trey off their ballot completely, would love to hear any of those voters' reasoning.

Congratulations to Trey! He has had an incredible season.
It is awesome to think he still has 3 more seasons at NDSU (plus this playoff run).
He may break every career passing record at NDSU before he is done.

DeweyI'm hopeful for the all time D-I wins by a QB record. That would be nice!

And here I thought it was kind of odd that he had 2 4th place votes, I didn't even realize he was left completely off 9 ballots. Hopefully with as many people getting 1st place votes for this that there is a lot of talent coming up through the FCS.
