In results of voting for the 2019 Buck Buchanan Award, presented by STATS to the FCS National Defensive Player of the Year, Southeast Missouri senior linebacker Zach Hall finished fourth, Austin Peay junior safety Kordell Jackson finished sixth and Eastern Kentucky senior defensive lineman Aaron Patrick finished tied for 21st.
