McNeese men's basketball team kicked off a two-day Christmas event at A.A. Nelson Elementary in Lake Charles on Thursday that saw the Cowboys take part in the school's annual Gumbo and Auction with Santa and was capped off on Friday when student-athletes from every McNeese sports program collected toys for Toys For Tots from Nelson's students.
